It is not an easy task choosing a phone for yourself, let alone for someone else :-)
In general I love Nokia's phones, but after viewing the AT&T site, I saw that there were no "cool" phones from Nokia (Like the E71).
After going over the phone they have I have decided to recommend the "AT&T Tilt(TM)".

First of all, it looks very cool with the touchscreen that swivels and tilts and the QWERTY keyboard.
It has all the necessary functions for a great mobile device – Wi-FI, 3MP camera, internet, MP3 and many more.
The only thing that would concern me is that it is based on "Windows® Mobile 6". I hope it is stable.
